About

Lita is founded and managed by S. Buse Yildirim. Our production house is based in Beykoz Kundura, a historical shoe factory turned into a large creative hub. In our past collaborations with Beykoz Kundura:

- We took part in the early foundation of Kundura Memory, an oral history project and audiovisual archive that is conducted in cooperation with former employees of Beykoz Kundura. The project was initiated in 2015 which later served as an inspiration for enriching Beykoz Kundura’s cultural policy. In 2020, we created the display of archival interview videos for its debut exhibition: Memory of Kundura: The World Within a Factory.

- We curated and produced 3 conceptualized pop-up film screenings for Beykoz Kundura Film Days, including Restored Film Days, Snow-Clad Nightmares and kicked off the first edition of open air film screening event A Midsummer’s Night Cinema. We are proud to say A Midsummer Night’s Cinema has become a phenomenal open air film and music festival with it’s own incredible team.

- As film screenings moved online, Kundura Cinema launched their own online viewing platform named Kundurama where we are the exclusive provider of thematic curations.

Since 2019, Lita focuses on producing creative documentary, cutting-edge experimental or research-based film, theater and contemporary performances. Our artistic values are centred around interdisciplinary innovation.
